This role is for a Principal Executive Recruiter at ServiceTitan, a software platform for the trades. The recruiter will own end-to-end executive searches for VP, SVP, and confidential roles, acting as a strategic advisor to senior leaders. Responsibilities include designing search strategies, managing searches, building talent pipelines, operating with market intelligence, and elevating the company's executive brand. The role requires 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years placing VP+ level leaders in high-growth tech companies, and expertise in executive sourcing, compensation, and stakeholder management. While the company uses AI-assisted tools in recruitment, this role itself is not AI-related.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead full-cycle executive searches for VP, SVP, and proactive roles globally, from intake through offer close and onboarding handoff
  2. Build trusted relationships with the CPO, CFO, CTPO, General Counsel, and other functional heads to deeply understand their organizational needs and long-term talent vision
  3. Maintain a living talent map of executive-level talent across key functions and geographies - including competitors, adjacent industries, and passive candidates in long-term relationships
  4. Develop and deliver regular executive talent market reports covering compensation trends, supply/demand dynamics, and competitor moves
  5. Serve as a brand ambassador to high-caliber executive talent, delivering a world-class candidate experience that reflects ServiceTitan's culture and ambition

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years placing successful VP+ level leaders at high-growth technology companies - in-house, retained search firm, or both
  • Demonstrated ability to run confidential, complex searches with senior-level discretion and stakeholder management acuity
  • Expert-level command of executive sourcing strategies - direct outreach, network mapping, research methodologies, and LinkedIn Recruiter/Gem/similar tools
  • Experience advising C-suite stakeholders as a trusted thought partner, not just a transactional recruiter
  • Deep fluency in executive compensation structures, including equity programs and long-term incentive design at growth-stage and pre/post-IPO companies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you write compelling outreach, give tight executive presentations, and know when to speak and when to listen
  • Strong command of executive search metrics and the ability to use data to drive decisions and report to leadership

Nice to have

  • Experience recruiting across global markets with cultural fluency for cross-border candidate dynamics
  • Background in or deep familiarity with enterprise B2B SaaS, vertical SaaS, or field service software markets
  • Prior retained search firm experience alongside corporate TA experience
  • Experience partnering on C-1 succession planning processes
