Product Manager, Incubations

Airbnb Airbnb · Consumer · New York, NY +1 · Product Management

Product Manager for Airbnb's incubation machine, focused on rapidly testing and launching new business ideas that extend beyond core stays. The role involves owning product work across multiple incubation tracks, designing and piloting MVPs, and making data-driven recommendations. Requires strong consumer product management experience, ability to operate in ambiguity, and excellent cross-functional collaboration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple incubation tracks simultaneously.
  2. Translate new business ideas and hypotheses into clear MVP scopes, leveraging the Guest App’s configurable platform components wherever possible to minimize engineering investment.
  3. Design and run pilots with clearly defined success criteria and measurable OKRs; synthesize learnings quickly and make data-driven graduate/expand/stop recommendations.
  4. Build strong working relationships with business development, partnerships, and external partners to ensure new offerings integrate seamlessly into the guest experience.
  5. Craft compelling product narratives for new incubations — for internal leadership alignment and for external launch communications.
