Product Operations - Dedrone

Axon Axon · Enterprise · Sterling, VA · 2024 Dedrone R&D

Axon is seeking a Product Operations Manager for its Dedrone division, a leader in smart airspace security. The role focuses on ensuring product operational readiness, coordinating new product introductions, managing field issues, and optimizing processes across hardware, software, and third-party products. This is a critical role for a rapidly growing business within Axon's portfolio.

What you'd actually do

  2. Serve as the Product organization's operational lead for NPIs, coordinating timelines, dependencies, and handoffs between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, QA, and Support. Track and communicate readiness milestones.
  3. Own the operational response to field issues, RMAs, and sustaining engineering requests. Coordinate between Customer Support, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and feed lessons learned back into the product development process.
  4. Manage the operational aspects of Dedrone's third-party hardware programs including Starlink connectivity, integrated radars, cameras, and mitigators. Coordinate with 3P vendors on supply, certification, and field support.
  5. Close the loop between field deployments and the product roadmap. Aggregate deployment data, field feedback, and support trends to inform product priorities and engineering improvements.
