Professional Services Manager

Axon Axon · Enterprise · Puerto Rico · Remote · 3042 Dedrone Sales

This role is for a Professional Services Manager at Axon, focusing on deploying and managing drone security solutions (Dedrone by Axon). The role involves end-to-end deployment, customer training, operational policy guidance, vendor coordination, and acting as a liaison between customers and Product/Engineering teams. While the product leverages AI/ML for drone detection and mitigation, the manager's role is focused on deployment, customer success, and operational integration rather than direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end deployments, acting as primary point of contact post-sale. This includes pre-deployment planning, hardware logistics, stakeholder alignment, on-site support, and go-live enablement.
  2. Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams, public safety operators, command staff, and IT teams. Tailor delivery to non-technical and highly technical audiences.
  3. Guide customers in creating operational policies and workflows that integrate Dedrone systems with broader agency technology stacks, including Axon Evidence, body-worn cameras, and in-car video systems.
  4. Coordinate and manage third-party training and integration vendors, ensuring accountability and delivery quality.
  5. Conduct site assessments to inform hardware placement and operational design.
