Sierra is building a platform to help businesses create better customer experiences using AI. This role is for a Recruiting Manager in Tokyo, responsible for leading technical and non-technical hiring, building a recruiting team, and developing hiring strategies. The role requires deep understanding of the Japan talent market and experience in high-growth tech companies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead recruiting across Japan, supporting both technical and non-technical hiring, including Engineering, Product Management, Sales, G&A, and leadership roles.
  2. Build and develop a high-performing recruiting team while fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  3. Partner closely with senior leaders to translate business priorities into scalable hiring strategies and market plans.
  4. Serve as a trusted advisor on the Japan talent market, providing insights on the competitive landscape, compensation trends, hiring strategies, and organizational design.
  5. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract exceptional talent.
