Axon is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to own the technical foundation of their Salesforce ecosystem, which includes Sales Cloud, CPQ, Billing, e-Commerce, and integrations with Microsoft D365. The role involves defining architectural standards, leading solution design, owning integration strategy, establishing coding and DevOps practices, mentoring developers, and remediating technical debt. The ideal candidate will have extensive Salesforce architecture experience, deep platform expertise, and strong integration and DevOps skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and govern Salesforce technical architecture across Axon, setting standards for design patterns, data modeling, integration strategy, and platform security
  2. Lead solution design and architecture review for new features, integrations, and platform changes — ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
  3. Own the integration strategy connecting Salesforce to Microsoft D365, revenue systems, and other enterprise platforms, including both REST/SOAP API and event-driven patterns
  4. Establish and enforce coding standards, DevOps practices, and release management processes
  5. Partner with Business Analysts, Sales Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into sound technical designs
