What you'd actually do

  1. Partner with Marketing leadership as the go-to expert on the voice of the consumer, ensuring consumer knowledge is embedded in strategies, briefs, and priorities from the earliest stages of planning.
  2. Own and evolve Airbnb's brand health tracking program, revising and refining the measurement framework, monitoring brand equity trends over time, and translating findings into clear, actionable implications for brand and marketing strategy.
  3. Coach and support the direct report who owns Airbnb's media measurement program, ensuring their work is connected to broader brand strategy and that media investment insights translate into meaningful implications for consumer perception and positioning.
  4. Lead and direct the Trends & Competitive Intelligence team, setting the strategic direction, ensuring the right signals are being tracked across the cultural and competitive landscape, and bringing forward-looking implications to Marketing and the broader organization.
  5. Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects spanning focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographies, online communities, and surveys, balancing in-house execution with vendor-managed projects.
