Senior Electrical Engineer

Apptronik is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive electronics development for their Apollo humanoid robot, focusing on bringing the product to market at scale. The role involves owning the entire lifecycle of electronic systems from ideation to mass production, including design, simulation, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Experience in robotics, automotive, medical, or enterprise product development and release is highly valued.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the development of complex electronic components and sub-systems.
  2. Design, simulate, implement, and test multi-layer mixed signal PCBAs.
  3. Rapid prototyping of electrical systems at both system and board levels.
  4. Simulate and verify electronics and electrical system requirements.
  5. Generate design documentation such as schematics, block diagrams, test plans and procedures, fabrication and assembly drawings.

Skills

Required

  • architecting and shipping electronics products in mass production
  • product lifecycle management and PLM systems
  • CAD tools including Altium or similar tools
  • designing, prototyping, and debugging PCB/PCBAs
  • electronics lab tools and simulation tools
  • communication (verbal & written)
  • problem-solving and hardware debugging skills
  • prototyping and testing, including the use of lab equipment
  • Electrical Engineering or related field degree
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering
