Senior Electrical Engineer II

Axon Axon · Enterprise · Boston, MA · 2022 New Ventures

Senior Electrical Engineer II role focused on the design, development, and testing of electronics for Axon Robotics Products. Responsibilities include circuit design, hardware verification, PCB layout collaboration, supplier selection, and leading design reviews. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 9+ years of experience in high-speed digital embedded systems, mixed-signal circuitry, and regulatory standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct research, propose, and develop innovative, industry-leading circuit designs for Axon Robotics products.
  2. Select, design, develop, and verify system circuitry and hardware aligned with project objectives and requirements
  3. Using schematic capture tools, design embedded Mixed-Signal electronic circuitry that integrates
  4. Team with PCB Design engineers to define, plan, implement, and inspect printed circuit board layout designs using Allegro or other layout tools
  5. Strong background in selection of new electrical parts and suppliers. Working with suppliers to select the best parts for your design.
