What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to translate complex user requirements into performant, intuitive features.
  2. Drive the adoption of best practices in front-end development in order to meet the high-resiliency needs for complex and mission-critical systems
  3. Heavily influence architectural design and implementation of scalable and reusable front-end systems using React.
  4. Analyze and address architectural challenges, such as state management, rendering performance, and scaling complex UIs.
  5. Contribute to and advocate for front-end testing strategies, ensuring high-quality code through unit and integration tests.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of software engineering industry experience, with at least 3 years focused on designing and engineering user-facing features and interfaces
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript
  • Familiarity working with GraphQL APIs
  • Deep understanding of front-end architecture, including state management (e.g., Redux, Context API, etc.)
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working closely with product and design teams
