Senior Managing Counsel specializing in Dutch employment law and global employment projects, managing the Employee Relations Office (ERO) function and works council strategy, providing legal advice, and handling strategic litigation. This role also involves managing a small team and collaborating with senior business leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Managing the ERO function of the Employment Legal team, identifying risks and opportunities to safeguard an effective and efficient working relationship between the Company and the NL works council.
  2. Setting the NL works council strategy and safeguarding consistent implementation of this strategy across the different projects and initiatives that the Employment Legal team are working on.
  3. Setting the centralized, overarching global consultation strategy, liaising closely with the local HR teams and wider employment law team.
  4. Drive strategic litigation(s) in individual and collective employment law cases.
  5. Provide advice on the full range of (Dutch) employment law and HR practice areas.

Skills

Required

  • Dutch employment law expertise
  • Legal practice admission (EU, UK, or US)
  • 8-12 years of legal experience
  • English fluency
