Senior Platform Manager for Airbnb's Payment Platform Accounts, focusing on building foundational platform capabilities for digital wallets, identity services, and payment interactions. What you'd actually do

  1. Account Foundations ownership, owning payments requirements with Trust, Guest & Host, and Compliance teams at Airbnb, and executing on logical account structures + external account orchestration in support of payments use cases.
  2. Partner on account receivables and loss-reduction initiatives where Payment Accounts capabilities can improve user experience, operational clarity, or risk outcomes.
  3. Evaluation of account-related user data required to understand evolving behaviors and needs related to payment activity and management.
  4. Resolution of account frictions and compliance information. Ongoing transparency and management of various business related information and points of contact to reduce downstream friction or unnecessary account restrictions.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience building payment platforms or fintech products in a product management role
  • track record of owning strategy, roadmap, and execution
  • Demonstrated experience building enterprise or B2B2C products for large marketplaces
  • deep understanding of identity workflows, compliance requirements, and fraud & losses
  • Experience building or managing API-based products and developer-facing platforms
  • ability to engage credibly with engineering teams and external developer partners
  • Experience contributing to products that serve users across multiple geographies, currencies, or regulatory environments
  • Ability to define a clear product area strategy, success criteria, and roadmap
  • align cross-functional partners around priorities and tradeoffs
  • Exceptional prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build strong partnerships inside and outside the Product organization, including with operations, compliance, finance, legal, and external enterprise customers

Nice to have

  • domain experience in multi-rail payment processing & operations is a strong plus
  • Experience with payments and risk losses
  • Experience scaling digital wallets and identity services
  • Experience at a consumer marketplace or two-sided platform with both B2B and B2C product surface areas
