Senior Product Manager for Toast's Revenue Systems, focusing on product strategy, roadmap, and technical boundaries for platforms supporting payments reconciliation, revenue recognition, and close readiness. This role partners with Finance, Business, Product, and Engineering to design scalable, auditable, and flexible solutions for Toast's evolving business model, ensuring accuracy, resilience, and support for new products and pricing models. Requires deep expertise in revenue operations and accounting systems, with a focus on ASC 606 / IFRS 15 compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for Toast’s revenue systems, with a focus on revenue recognition, close-supporting workflows, and financial readiness at scale.
  2. Partner closely with Finance, Business, and Engineering to design solutions that improve accuracy, reduce manual effort, and strengthen auditability across the revenue lifecycle.
  3. Translate ambiguous business problems into clear product requirements, success metrics, and phased delivery plans, including build-versus-buy decisions for core finance and reconciliation capabilities.
  4. Ensure systems and workflows support ASC 606 / IFRS 15 compliance, revenue allocations, performance obligation treatment, deferred revenue handling, and downstream reporting needs.
  5. Drive scalable solutions for new products, pricing models, entities, and revenue flows entering the Toast ecosystem.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience
  • significant ownership of finance, revenue, quote-to-cash, order-to-cash, or ERP-adjacent platforms in a complex business environment
  • Deep domain expertise in revenue accounting and operational revenue systems
  • Strong experience with ERP, billing, and revenue automation platforms
  • Demonstrated success designing systems that support scalable, auditable financial processes
  • Experience evaluating and implementing build-versus-buy platform decisions for complex finance workflows and integrations
  • Proven ability to simplify complex business and technical problems into clear product strategy, roadmap decisions, and high-quality execution
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to prioritization
