This role is for a Senior Sales Account Executive at Block (Square) focused on selling their integrated financial and commerce solutions to small and midsize businesses. The role involves owning the full outbound sales cycle, building pipeline, developing multi-product solutions, and closing complex deals. It requires strong B2B sales experience, particularly in outbound prospecting and consultative selling within the fintech space.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the full outbound sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation to close — with SMB and mid-market merchants.
  2. Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, targeted campaigns, and creative outbound strategies.
  3. Develop multi-product solutions across Square’s ecosystem and tailor them to each merchant’s unique needs.
  4. Partner with Business Development on lead flow while independently driving net-new logo acquisition.
  5. Conduct high-impact discovery, demos, and negotiations with decisiveness across multi-stakeholder deals.

  • 3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting
  • Experience closing complex, multi-threaded deals
