Senior Staff Product Designer for a SaaS product in the home services industry, focusing on identifying, proposing, and leading design projects to refine product strategy and ensure consistent user experiences. The role involves working with product managers, engineers, and users to solve complex problems with data-driven solutions and drive measurable outcomes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Actively seek out challenging company-wide opportunities and contribute to bringing clarity and insights to these complex issues. Develop deep expertise across the entire platform
  2. Take responsibility for specific design-driven projects that you proactively pursue. Additionally, collaborate with the VP of Design to identify areas of work where your guidance and expertise are essential for achieving customer-focused success.
  3. Work with Product owners and developers to create clear and compelling interfaces which meet the requirements of the user story. Quickly prototype solutions to visual and interaction problems, create and “sell” North Star Projects.
  4. Understand the users deeply across different segments through research, user insights and lead product design to drive measurable outcomes. Validate product ideas through experimental design and research approaches. Help your teams and the entire company develop empathy for our users and advocate for our users’ needs
  5. Innovate and establish enduring, replicable patterns and systems that set new benchmarks for interaction within the company.

Skills

Required

  • Experience designing a modern Saas or enterprise platform
  • Demonstrated portfolio of shipping amazing customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business and customer metrics.
  • Deep organization and execution capabilities, especially in areas of influence and collaboration with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • Proven ability to hold conversations on design with executives and external industry leaders.
  • Experience in design thinking methodologies
