Senior Technical Product Manager - Simulation

Apptronik Apptronik · Robotics · Mountain View, CA · Product

The Senior Technical Product Manager - Simulation will drive the product vision and roadmap for simulation platforms used in developing AI-powered robots, focusing on perception, autonomy, and navigation. This role involves defining use cases for realistic customer environment simulation, ensuring a configurable UX for developers, and translating market demands into executable product roadmaps. Experience with simulation environments, physics/robotics engines, and ideally synthetic data generation is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and maintain the simulation platforms roadmap: scope, sequencing, and feature priorities.
  2. Drive the technical definition of simulation environments focusing on perception, autonomy, and navigation for robot fleets.
  3. Define and prioritize use cases for simulating realistic customer environments to enable thorough testing before real-world deployment.
  4. Ensure that the simulation platform features a highly configurable and intuitive UX viable for developers to easily create, modify, and analyze test scenarios.
  5. Define and prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and customer needs.
