Specialist Account Executive (lpr)

Axon Axon · Enterprise · Boston, MA · 3015 Sales Air

This is a Specialist Account Executive role focused on Axon's ALPR (Automatic License Plate Recognition) product line. The role involves supporting an inside sales team by providing product expertise, delivering demos, assisting with quotes and scoping, and coaching on deals. The Specialist Account Executive will act as the product authority for ALPR features, compatibilities, pricing, and integrations, ensuring sales reps can confidently close opportunities. The role also includes managing demo assets, logging activities in Salesforce, and gathering customer feedback for the product team. While ALPR technology may involve AI/ML components, this role is focused on sales enablement and product support, not the direct development or research of AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be the product authority for ~40 East Small City inside sales reps—fielding questions on Outpost/Lightpost features, compatibilities, deployment models, pricing, warranty, and integrations with Axon software and broader public safety workflows.
  2. Deliver compelling product demos (phone/web and on‑site) tailored to law‑enforcement use cases—showing operational value, ROI, and how Outpost/Lightpost ALPR maps to mission outcomes (e.g., alerts, investigations, deterrence).
  3. Quote and scope support: Build or assist with BoMs, SKUs, and pricing packages; guide reps on services, bundles, accessories (e.g., mounts/installation/connectivity), and renewals; ensure quoting accuracy and completeness.
  4. Deal coaching: Join customer calls to address technical/product questions, de‑risk objections, and recommend best‑fit Outpost/Lightpost configurations and deployment approaches.
  5. Enablement & training: Run regular enablement sessions for the West Small City team; maintain demo scripts, quick‑reference guides, and FAQs specific to Outpost/Lightpost.
