This role is for an Account Services Manager at Block (Square) focused on the Sports, Entertainment, & Leisure sector. What you'd actually do

  1. Be responsible for growing and retaining the existing customer base within our key Sports and Entertainment Seller relationships.
  2. Collaborate closely with Senior Account Manager and Account Executives to develop growth and retention strategies for our Sports and Entertainment Sellers.
  3. Understand customer needs to help achieve their business goals through Square
  4. Cross sell and upsell products and features by discovering customer leads.
  5. Effectively and strategically address customer concerns and issues.

Skills

Required

  • 2 - 3 years experience in Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management or related field
  • Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships.
  • Experience successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets
  • Strong interest in business operations and strategy
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort in ambiguity and providing feedback on new processes that will be need continued refinement
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • A BA/BS or relevant experience.

Nice to have

  • Passion and knowledge about how new technologies can help better serve small and medium size businesses
  • Experience in Sports and Entertainment operations or technology deployments is a plus.
