Sr. Associate, Retail Go-to-market Operations - Launch Success & Retailer Enablement

Instacart Instacart · Consumer · United States · Remote · Customer Experience & Operations

This role is focused on the operational execution and success of user acquisition programs for Instacart's retail partners, particularly for new store launches and the adoption of in-store technology. The Sr. Associate will coordinate day-to-day operations, track program performance using data, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to the design of new growth programs. The role requires strong operational, data analysis, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on driving measurable improvements in a fast-paced environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate day-to-day operations across multiple user acquisition programs, ensuring vendor schedules, field team logistics, and store-level activation plans stay on track across a portfolio of concurrent launches.
  2. Track program performance using operational data, diagnose where results are falling short of targets, and work with program managers to course-correct quickly. You are not just reporting the numbers; you are digging into the details and driving the fix.
  3. Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including scheduling coordination, onboarding support, invoice tracking, and performance accountability. You will be a reliable operational partner to external teams who are critical to our success in the field.
  4. Get close to the work by spending time in stores alongside field teams, observing what's actually happening on the ground and bringing back the insights that make our programs better. This role is primarily remote, with in-store visits once or twice per quarter.
  5. Contribute to the design and iteration of new growth programs for early-stage stores. As you build mastery of how our acquisition channels work, you will be expected to bring ideas forward and help shape what we build next.
