Smartsheet is seeking a Sr. Compensation Consultant to influence and manage global compensation programs, focusing on job leveling, career-pathing, and market competitiveness. The role involves analyzing compensation effectiveness, ensuring compliance with pay-related regulations, and partnering with various teams to implement compensation strategies. A key aspect is applying AI and automation to enhance compensation modeling and scalability.

What you'd actually do

  1. Influence the application of the global compensation strategy, design and execution, including, but not limited to job leveling, career-pathing, job architecture development, attraction, retention, reward and recognition, incentive design, communication methods, and education.
  2. Assist in compensation review cycles including administration and distribution, mentoring, and communication of all compensation programs and guidelines.
  3. Partner with senior team members to develop new salary ranges in markets that Smartsheet is expanding into.
  4. Conduct analysis on the effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives.
  5. Help monitor and interpret relevant pay-related regulations in partnership with HR, Legal, and external advisors.
