About Booking Holdings
Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG) is one of the world’s largest online travel companies. Through our brands — Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK and OpenTable — we connect millions of travellers with experiences across more than 220 countries and territories.
Our mission is simple: make it easier for everyone to experience the world.
Behind that mission is a global organisation operating at scale navigating complex regulations, digital business models, and cross-border operations every day.
About the Bangalore Center of Excellence
Our Bangalore Center of Excellence plays a critical role in enabling that global scale. The teams here partner closely with colleagues across Europe, the US and APAC supporting finance, technology and operational functions that help the business grow responsibly and sustainably.
This role offers direct exposure to global stakeholders and evolving international tax frameworks.
The Role: Advisory Over Compliance
This is not a traditional tax filing or compliance-heavy role. We are looking for a "Tax Intelligence Specialist" rather than a "Tax Accountant."
Indirect tax rules are evolving rapidly for digital businesses. In this role, you will support the global Indirect Tax team based in the Netherlands to act as a Strategic Watchtower—monitoring global developments, strengthening tax operations, interpreting complex legislation, and "translating" those findings into structured operational requirements for our brands.
This role leans more on how you think and communicate than on number crunching. You’ll spend your time understanding new regulations, making sense of what they mean for the business, and articulating that clearly for others.
You won’t be signing off on final tax positions, but you’ll work closely with those who do—building a strong understanding of how decisions are shaped in a global environment.
If you’re someone who enjoys connecting the dots between law, business, and real-world impact, this role offers that perspective.
