Betterment is seeking a Sr. Manager, Marketing Compliance to manage a team of two and oversee the daily review of marketing materials and social media for investment advisory and broker-dealer products. This role requires expertise in SEC and FINRA marketing rules, strong management skills, and the ability to partner with the marketing team to ensure adherence to regulations. The role also involves managing a marketing review tool, which may use AI, and executing the Compliance program for their area of responsibility.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage and develop two (2) direct reports, conducting daily marketing review and other program tasks
  2. Manage and oversee the daily review of marketing materials and social media related to investment advisory and broker-dealer products to ensure adherence to SEC Rule 206(4)-1, FINRA 2210, Reg DD and other applicable regulations
  3. Partner and collaborate with the marketing team, including advising on initiatives to help achieve business goals
  4. Manage our marketing review tool, including the tools use of artificial intelligence
  5. Identify and implement marketing program enhancements
