Staff Product Designer for a SaaS product in the home services industry, focusing on user experience, research, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to ship features.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build positive & collaborative relationships with multiple disciplines including product, engineering, and research to explore, build, and ship your work
  2. Develop deep expertise across multiple product's problem areas
  3. Quickly prototype solutions to visual and interaction problems
  4. Talk to users and understanding their problems and current pain-points
  5. Design experiences that are simple, elegant, and solve real problems

Skills

Required

  • Experience designing a modern SaaS or enterprise platform
  • An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a range of UX, interaction and visual design, and idea generation or prototyping
  • Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying the end-to-end iterative design process including how to develop and use design research, user stories, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, user testing, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Experience collaborating with other designers to build a cohesive product
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills
  • At least one year of experience directly managing a team of two or more people

  • A passion for solving core product problems while balancing all facets of a user experience, such as strategy and research, information architecture, and interaction design
