Staff Salesforce DevOps Engineer responsible for architecting and evolving the CI/CD framework for complex Salesforce deployments, driving advanced automation and self-service tooling. This role also involves leading cross-application release management, providing technical leadership in resolving deployment challenges, and acting as a technical liaison. The engineer will leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows and improve velocity.

What you'd actually do

  1. Architect and evolve the global CI/CD framework for complex Salesforce deployments, driving advanced automation and self-service tooling for scale.
  2. Lead cross-application release management across Salesforce, NetSuite, AWS, and other Business Systems, ensuring high-velocity delivery in an enterprise ecosystem.
  3. Provide technical leadership in resolving systemic deployment challenges and architecting environment strategies including refreshes and data access governance.
  4. Act as a technical liaison for Business Systems, Engineering, and Operations, having an understanding of roadmaps and how their dependencies and schedules align
  5. Provide deep technical support for releases, incident response, and major system upgrades

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce CI/CD architecture and enterprise-scale release management (e.g., Copado, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Architectural ownership of complex automation tooling and integration strategies across a diverse tech stack (Salesforce, NetSuite, Workato, etc.).
  • Experience with version control tools (GitHub preferred) and at least one development language (e.g., Python or Java).
  • Proven experience utilizing Generative AI or Copilot-style tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) for improving development, testing, or operations workflows.

Nice to have

  • Experience with any of the following Enterprise Applications: Netsuite, Workato, RevPro.
  • Direct experience leading high-risk migration projects, such as large-scale DocuSign/namespace changes.
  • Experience with performance testing tools, logging and monitoring (Datadog/Splunk), and data masking.
