Strategic Cuisines Account Executive - Japanese

This is a bilingual Japanese field sales opportunity at Toast, a company that creates technology for restaurants. The role focuses on growing Toast's presence within Japanese cuisine restaurants by using a consultative sales approach, converting inbound leads, generating new opportunities, and building relationships with restaurateurs. The Account Executive will identify restaurant needs and recommend Toast's platform, driving new customer growth through calls, demos, and closing contracts in the customer's preferred language. Fluency in both English and Japanese is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Following up on marketing qualified leads in the market you support
  2. Conducting discovery calls & product demonstrations in your customer’s preferred language
  3. Creating and reviewing quotes and contracts in your customer’s preferred language
  4. Ensure our onboarding team and customer are set up for success post sale
  5. Understand the competitive landscape in your market (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) to best position Toast.

Skills

Required

  • 1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a relatable field and industry
  • Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  • Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and team environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
  • General technical proficiency with software
  • reliable transportation
