Strategic Finance Lead for Go-To-Market (GTM) organization, partnering with GTM leadership to drive financial strategy, business modeling, and decision support. Responsibilities include shaping finance and GTM collaboration, designing acquisition strategies, building performance assessment frameworks, influencing growth through investment allocation, and managing a strategic finance team. Requires 15+ years of experience in strategic finance, advising senior executives, and navigating complex data with a bias toward automation and AI tool adoption.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary strategic finance partner to Block’s GTM lead and the rest of the GTM leadership, building strong relationships and providing sophisticated analysis to drive informed decision-making
  2. Drive Block’s investment strategy across GTM functions and channels, building frameworks to measure outputs and success and to assess trade-offs across investment opportunities
  3. Lead and execute all of the financial, strategic and planning processes supporting our GTM activities including monthly / quarterly performance reviews, Annual Plan and Long Range Planning activities
  4. Develop strategy for pricing, customer acquisition incentives, revenue attainment forecasting, headcount investment, custom pricing management, and sales incentives
  5. Manage a high-performing strategic finance team
