Support Engineer

Sierra is seeking its first Support Engineer to help customers succeed with their Agent OS platform. This role involves debugging issues, investigating complex problems across agent building, integrations, APIs, and infrastructure, and translating technical issues into solutions. The engineer will also help design and build the support function from scratch using AI tools and identify patterns to drive product improvements. The role requires strong debugging skills, an engineering mindset, comfort with AI tools, and a positive attitude.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work directly with customers building agents on Sierra to debug issues and unblock them.
  2. Investigate complex problems across multiple layers: agent building, integrations, APIs, product workflows, and infrastructure.
  3. Help design Sierra’s support workflows, tools, and processes using the latest AI tools (Sierra’s Agent OS, Codex/Claude, etc.)
  4. Identify patterns across customer issues and drive improvements to the product and developer experience.
  5. As one of the first Support Engineers at Sierra, a meaningful part of the role will be growing the function globally.
