What you'd actually do

  1. Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, and identity services

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role
  • Deep Azure infrastructure expertise — compute, networking, identity, storage, and hybrid connectivity
  • Proficiency with Terraform and/or Bicep
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash or Python
  • Solid experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory in enterprise environments
  • Linux server administration in production environments
  • VMware virtualization experience (ESXi, vCenter)
  • Experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta and Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Hands-on experience applying AI and automation tools to infrastructure operations
  • Strong communication skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

  • Experience with Azure Microsoft Foundry and/or Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
  • Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to move from reactive support to proactive infrastructure ownership
