What you'd actually do

  1. Manage all material tax positions within the organization, including Innovation Box.
  2. Assist in advisory projects such as Permanent Establishment (PE) analysis, liquidation of foreign entities, location strategy for hiring foreign talent, etc.
  3. Review of CIT return(s) and Innovation Box workings for all our material entities within the organization
  4. Improve existing processes and support the tax accounting team in relation to all quarter close reporting activities.
  5. Assist in direct tax audits including voluntary disclosure proceedings & relationship with the Dutch tax authorities

Skills

Required

  • University degree in Tax Economics/Law or similar degree
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and Dutch

Nice to have

  • Preferably 6+ years of working experience within a big 4 and/or international environment
  • Combination of experience with (US GAAP) tax accounting processes is much preferred
  • Knowledge of Dutch income tax and indirect tax regulations is much preferred
  • Self-starter, flexible, energetic, passionate, self-motivated, and results-oriented professional
  • Accurate, able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, and comfortable working in a fast turnaround environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to think strategically, multi-task, and work effectively and efficiently with minimum direction, taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities
  • To be able to clearly express ideas and information to various stakeholders in the business and tailor your style according to the specific situation and audience
