The Operations Team Lead will support the development, implementation, and adherence to regulatory compliance across various operational landscapes (Outsourcing, Operational Resilience, Customer, Data Management, Change Management) for Booking Holdings Financial Services (BHFS) in EEA and UK. This role involves leading the build-out of an Operations Control Function in Bangalore, managing a team of Operations Analysts, and ensuring operations conform to effective business practices while satisfying regulatory requirements from CBI and FCA. The position also focuses on continuous improvement, risk management, and relationship management with service providers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the build out of the BHFS Operations Control Function in Bangalore, intended to deliver operational services and derive efficiency across all BHFS entities, supporting with recruitment, onboarding, training, tooling and local management of team members.
  2. Manage, oversee and coordinate the activities of the Operations Analysts across Outsourcing, Change Management, Customer, Operational Resilience and Data Management to ensure consistent and timely execution of activities.
  3. Work closely with the BHFS Operations Capability leads to deliver the build out and enhancement of operational processes, management of the Operations compliance regulatory requirements and ensuring proportionate transformation of requirements into Operational activities by the Operations Control Function in Bangalore.
  4. Support and deliver on activities as part of a BAU/Run environment, ensuring ongoing delivery to BAU activities that promote delivery and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  5. Develop operational scheduling of activities promoting a disciplined operational rhythm that delivers desired outcomes that are planned and executed in line with agreed standards and timelines with strong attention to detail on record attention imperative.

Skills

Required

  • 5-8 years operations experience ideally in a regulatory environment
  • Strong understanding of EEA and UK regulations
  • Experience operationalizing regulatory requirements into operational processes
