What you'd actually do

  1. Work as a part of both the Program Management Office and the Product Design Team to create and maintain streamlined development schedules for mechanical and electromechanical parts, adapting to unforeseen challenges and helping to chart new courses of action as needed
  2. Responsible for design release schedule, delivery of parts and BOM management from early design concepts to mass production
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, cost, and schedule goals are met
  4. Understand technical issues and help to bring together key partners to quickly converge on a solution
  5. Drive development and manufacturing of early prototypes, travel to manufacturing partners, and help diagnose and close issues during manufacturing

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of combined experience in program management and mechanical/electrical engineering for complex consumer electronics products
  • Knowledge of product design processes
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
