Technical Program Manager I

This role supports large, complex organizations in unlocking the value of Axon's technology ecosystem, focusing on Fusus and other Axon products. The Business Analyst will partner with customers to understand needs, translate them into requirements, and support implementations. Responsibilities include leading discovery sessions, documenting functional requirements and user stories, configuring software, designing and executing User Acceptance Testing, and developing training materials. The role requires strong business analysis, technical collaboration, and communication skills, with an emphasis on ownership and composure in complex environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a core member of the Professional Services team supporting Enterprise customer implementations across Fusus and additional Axon products.
  2. Lead discovery sessions with Enterprise customers to understand business processes, operational goals, and system considerations across multiple stakeholders.
  3. Translate customer needs into clear, structured business artifacts, including functional requirements, user stories, workflows, and process documentation.
  4. Partner with Project Managers, Solution Architects, and Product teams to support the design and delivery of multi-product solutions.
  5. Work with customers to configure Axon software solutions in alignment with business objectives and organizational needs.

  • Experience with discovery, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into actionable documentation.
  • Comfortable working in software-driven environments and partnering with technical teams to understand constraints and solution options.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Services teams.
  • Ability to learn quickly, connect details across systems and workflows, and ask thoughtful questions.
