This role provides 2nd and 3rd level technical support for Dedrone by Axon's Airspace Security Solutions, involving research, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware and software issues for customers and field engineers. It requires strong networking, Linux, and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration with engineering teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the Dedrone by Axon Product Family to field engineers and customers
  2. Research and identify solutions to resolve software and hardware issues
  3. Diagnosing and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
  4. Take ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution
  5. Work with engineering and development teams to perform root cause analysis

Skills

Required

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of routing/switching
  • Very good knowledge in networks and Linux
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • Ability to work well in a team and enjoy knowledge sharing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent English & Spanish

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or 7+ years relevant work experience
  • Previous practical work experience in the field of customer support
  • Willing and able to travel
  • Good knowledge about consumer UAV protocols and standards
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of RF technology
  • Basic understanding of cloud computing solutions
  • Drone pilot license in future
