This role is for a Sales Account Executive at Block (Square) focused on selling their integrated omnichannel solutions and financial services to small and midsize businesses. The role involves full-cycle outbound sales, pipeline management, and closing complex deals across various industries. It is not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the full outbound sales cycle — from prospecting to negotiation to close — with SMB and mid-market merchants.
  2. Build and manage a high-quality pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, targeted campaigns, and creative outbound strategies.
  3. Develop multi-product solutions across Square's ecosystem and tailor them to each merchant's unique needs.
  4. Conduct high-impact discovery, demos, and negotiations with decisiveness across multi-stakeholder deals.
  5. Act as a consultant and trusted advisor — seamlessly flexing across BDR, AE, and AM responsibilities when needed.
