Toast is seeking a Bilingual Mandarin Territory Account Executive to drive new business acquisition within Asian cuisines in Portland, OR. This role involves converting inbound leads, uncovering new demand through referrals, and providing a tailored experience to Mandarin-speaking customers. The Account Executive will demonstrate how Toast's digital platform benefits restaurants, manage sales activities like calls, emails, product demonstrations, quotes, and contracts in the customer's preferred language, and ensure a successful post-sale transition to the onboarding team. Understanding the competitive landscape is also key. The role requires fluency in English and Mandarin, and prior sales experience is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Following up on marketing qualified leads in the market you support
  2. Conducting discovery calls & product demonstrations in your customer’s preferred language
  3. Creating and reviewing quotes and contracts in your customer’s preferred language
  4. Ensure our onboarding team and customer are set up for success post sale
  5. Understand the competitive landscape in your market (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) to best position Toast.
