This role is for a Territory Account Executive focused on selling Toast's Retail platform to new clients in the convenience store, grocery store, and bottle shop sectors. The role involves prospecting, building relationships, conducting demos, and managing the sales cycle. While Toast uses AI tools internally and in its hiring process, this specific role is a sales position and does not involve building or directly working with AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
  2. Generate lists of prospective convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  3. Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
  4. Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  5. Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
