This role is for a Territory Account Executive, Retail at Toast, focusing on expanding the Toast Retail platform into new verticals like convenience stores and grocery stores. The role involves a consultative sales approach, prospecting, building relationships, and closing new accounts. While Toast uses AI tools internally and in its hiring process, this specific role is a sales position and not directly involved in building or deploying AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
  2. Generate lists of prospective convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  3. Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
  4. Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  5. Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
