Toast is seeking a Territory Account Executive for its new Retail platform, focusing on convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops. The role involves prospecting, building relationships, and closing new accounts using a consultative sales approach. The ideal candidate will have a founder's mindset, sales expertise, and an entrepreneurial spirit to grow Toast's presence in this new vertical.

What you'd actually do

  1. Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
  2. Generate lists of prospective convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  3. Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
  4. Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  5. Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
