Toast is seeking a Territory Account Executive, Retail to expand its POS platform into new food and beverage concepts. This role involves prospecting, building relationships, and closing new accounts for the Toast Retail platform using a consultative approach. The ideal candidate will have a founder's mindset, sales expertise, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The company uses AI tools internally to support various functions, including sales and hiring, to improve efficiency and quality.

What you'd actually do

  1. Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops
  2. Generate lists of prospective convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close
  3. Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the prospect’s needs
  4. Partner with teams across the business to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery
  5. Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
