This Treasury Specialist role focuses on global back-office treasury activities, including banking administration (KYC, signatory management) and electronic banking administration (user access, platform management). The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, supporting audits, and managing banking relationships. It also involves supporting the evolution of treasury capabilities through emerging technologies and Six Sigma principles, with a focus on process improvement, automation, and compliance with SOX controls.

What you'd actually do

  1. Maintaining and updating mandates in our worldwide network of bank accounts. Ensuring accuracy of the right entitlements of senior individuals acting as account signers in a constantly changing landscape.
  2. Communicate effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties to obtain KYC documents. Ensure adequate KYC information and documentation are supplied to the banking partners in line with the regulatory and legal requirements, and completed in a timely manner for various global entities.
  3. Provide support with yearly Standard Bank Confirmations, FBAR reporting and ongoing general Audit related questions, advise on efficient practices for timely collection of confirmation and act as an escalating point in resolving any bank service delivery failures in that regard.
  4. Accurately execute new user access management requests, change requests and access removal for applicable electronic banking platforms.
  5. Coordinate bank portal administration, including managing KYC updates, access provisioning, user access migrations, internal communications to all relevant key stakeholders.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor degree in Economics or other relevant fields with 5+ years of experience in global multinational corporations or financial institutions.
  • Fluent in English verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skill is a must.
  • Ability to utilize information from regulatory changes, new regulations, and internal policy changes to further identify new key risk areas and work together with internal departments to set the necessary controls in place.
  • Strong competence in understanding legal transactional requirements and business requirements.
  • Multi-tasking is extremely important
  • Experienced one or more major Treasury Management Systems (E.g. SAP or Oracle based, FIS Quantum)
  • Experienced in dealing with one or more major electronic banking platforms (E.g. CitiDirect, JP Morgan Access, Straight2Bank, HSBCnet, etc.)
