What you'd actually do

  1. Lead full-cycle recruitment processes, from sourcing and screening to closing and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  2. Identify and engage with passive candidates through various channels, including online platforms, networking events, and industry connections, to build a strong, diverse talent pipeline.
  3. Drive initiatives to ensure diverse hiring practices and build a team reflective of our values and culture.
  4. Utilize metrics and analytics to track recruiting performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes to achieve hiring targets, reporting regularly to hiring partners.
  5. Stay informed about industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging talent pools to strategically advise the business on hiring needs and challenges.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of full-cycle or university recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in using recruiting metrics and data to inform decisions and improve processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to work cross-functionally to achieve Sierra’s goals.
  • Relationships with career centers, student orgs, faculty, and ambassadors.
  • Experience in planning and executing campus engagement strategies, across universities through targeted events and partnerships.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in order to adapt to the ever-changing needs of a growing organization.
  • Ability and willingness to travel during peak recruiting cycles and work flexible hours as needed
  • An interest in building from the ground up: launching intern programs, designing early talent hiring process
