Ux Researcher (remote From Bulgaria)

Smartsheet Smartsheet · Seattle · Bulgaria · User Experience (UX)

Smartsheet is seeking a UX Researcher in Bulgaria to lead critical research efforts, empowering Product Design partners with insights to make informed design decisions and influence cross-functional product development. The role involves executing end-to-end research, applying various methodologies, and collaborating with product teams. A key requirement is AI Literacy, including understanding AI data processing, bias, and hallucinations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive Strategic Impact: Impact the product at the feature level while broadening influence by applying insights holistically across an entire experience and pillar.
  2. Execute End-to-End Research: Identify tasks and activities without guidance, and work with the team to prioritize research questions and create a research roadmap. Adapt research methodologies, shifting effectively between rapid, 'scrappy' approaches and comprehensive, in-depth studies, as necessitated by the specific research questions.
  3. Uplevel Insights: Provide recommendations that increase the knowledge of the team beyond a single project, moving from tactical to strategic insights.
  4. Influence Strategy: With guidance, start to influence product priority and strategy in addition to near-term design and product improvements.
  5. Apply Appropriate Methodologies: Use multiple generative and evaluative research methods to answer product and design questions, while articulating the limitations of different methodologies.
