Senior Sales Engineer for Comcast Business, focusing on designing and implementing complex data network and voice solutions for business clients. This role supports the sales team by providing technical expertise, performing needs analyses, and translating technical designs into understandable customer proposals. The position requires in-depth knowledge of network solutions and customer support, acting as a subject matter expert within the sales cycle.

This role is responsible for performing routine plant maintenance, troubleshooting calls, surveys, locates, outage repair, track and repair Cumulative Leakage Index (CLI), power supply maintenance, and construction maintenance in accordance with Company procedures and practices. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving service failures related to Video, Comcast Digital Voice (CDV), and Comcast High Speed Data (CHSI) inclusive of Home Networking and Home Plug. It requires safety awareness, preventative maintenance, and comfort working at heights. Core responsibilities include responding to damage scenarios, service interruptions, and outages by troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues, performing construction maintenance duties, splicing cable, restoring plant, activating new plant, and repairing or replacing damaged cable plant. The role also involves isolating and resolving fiber optic signal impairments for HFC and EPON networks, performing CLI ride-outs, and applying knowledge of industry codes and regulations. The role requires the ability to work in inclement weather, drive company vehicles, and complete required training. Qualifications include a minimum of twelve months of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work variable schedules.
